Xi Jinping on a par with Mao

The resolutions of the 19th Party Congress of the CCP do not suggest that Xi will allow far-reaching economic structural change without leadership and control by the Communist Party.

Following the emphasis on economic growth and a rather reticent international stance in the past, the focus is now on social justice and winning geopolitical hegemony. Consequently, lower economic growth and geopolitical conflicts are to be expected.
