The EU crisis is coming to a head

In the financial and euro crisis, the number of possible solutions to problems was rhetorically reduced to zero and supporters of alternative solutions were stigmatised as opponents of the EU and Europe. This "folly of those in power" (Barbara Tuchmann) is now turning with full force against its authors.

Whether British Prime Minister David Cameron will succeed in preventing Britain from leaving the EU remains to be seen and will only become clear on 23 June 2016. But what actually happens with a Brexit? Will Britain no longer be subject to EU legislation?
