New budget crisis in the USA

A new budget must be adopted in the USA by 11 December 2015 and a decision on raising the debt ceiling must be taken as early as the end of October.

In the USA, the share of national debt in gross domestic product has steadily increased under both republican and democratic presidents. Only under Democratic President Bill Clinton was this growing share reduced for a short time between 1998 and 2001.
