Is Capitalism unethical?

The success of a social and economic order is measured not only by the criterion of economic efficiency, but also by its ethical foundation. A widespread but false narrative sees a fundamental tension between economic efficiency and ethics. The aim of this paper is to recall that capitalism has been justified by Christian ethics also on the European continent.
