Incorrigible Optimists

The analysis recommendations for the DAX 30 companies have been marked by strong optimism over the past ten years. For example, 54.4% of the recommendations were "buy", 33.1% were neutral, and only 15.6% were "sell".

There is no statistically significant correlation between the return potential that analysts attribute to a share and the actual share price performance. Rather, the analysts follow the actual price development.
