While the European Union is preoccupied with itself with costly "reconstruction programmes" after the Corona crisis and loftily proclaimed "Green New Deals" for climate protection ("man-on-the-moon-moment"), a change in the world that has been going on for a long time is making its breakthrough unnoticed by it: the division into rival civilisations.
