Few stocks but big worries - German investors should rethink their investment strategy

by Marius Kleinheyer

The results of the survey show that Germans are looking to the future with an overall sense of concern. The majority of people are worried about their old-age provision. Nevertheless, stocks remain unpopular.

76 percent of respondents said they had to worry about the future. 71 percent confirm that they are worried about their financial security in old age. Equities do not play a major role in their long-term investment strategy. Nevertheless, Germans trust their own assets. Gold and bank deposits are particularly popular.
