Death drive and life drive in history

by Thomas Mayer

The sweet poison of socialist promises saps the life instinct: entrepreneurial initiative, individual creativity, the free development of the person. The results have always been a fat and sluggish state without accountability, for some years now the cultural hegemony of "woker" political moralists in society, and overall economic decline. Before we despair over this, however, we should remember that the respective manifestations of socialism were only temporary and therefore had no lasting influence on history.
