The sales and earnings forecasts of German groups were also too cautious in the 2015 financial year. Despite the slowdown in overall economic momentum, this result is not surprising.

The analysis of the management forecasts issued by German groups in the past financial year confirms the results of our survey last year: On average Companies forecast short-term sales and earnings development in the financial year 2015 too pessimistic. Despite a slowdown in overall economic momentum, forecasts were raised during the course of the year.
