Argentina: The reform agenda of Javier Milei from a theoretical and political perspective

The newly elected Argentinian president Javier Milei wants to turn things around with a radical liberal reform program. We examine the reform program from a theoretical perspective with the help of the Austrian School of Economics, German Ordo-Liberalism, and the theory of financial repression. We also analyse the political obstacles to his reform agenda.
