Agreement in nuclear dispute with Iran

Since 1979, the U.S. and its allies have been building an unprecedented network of energy, financial and human rights sanctions against Iran. But it is only now that these economic sanctions could have led to the desired political success.

This week's Vienna Agreements are the first to lift the economic sanctions that block access to oil and financial markets and paralyze the entire Iranian economy.
